Tobacco Farmers in Crisis (TFIC) is a non-profit farm organization working to secure a comprehensive,
fair and orderly exit strategy for Canadian tobacco farmers who currently face economic devastation and uncertainty about their futures as a result of conflicting and under-enforced government policies
on tobacco control.

Through educational and advocacy efforts, TFIC strives to expand the understanding of the deepening crisis faced by tobacco farm families and their communities. Our activities include government relations, public education and media relations.

We invite you to browse our site and learn about the real issues that
have led farmers into debt and greatly contributed to the immediate
threat facing our family farms and our communities.

More importantly, we invite you to learn about our
Blueprint for Action  and real-world solutions that benefit all Canadians concerned about comprehensive, fair and effective tobacco control
policies.
